I’ve always been a Pond’s user for almost a decade now. I trust the product because it works well for me over the years. I was able to see visible results after a couple of weeks using it. I’ve been using Ponds Pinkish White Lightning Facial Foam for cleansing, then I’ve also tried Ponds White Beauty Pinkish White Day Cream (I remembered they used to have it in a lotion form, but got removed from the product line, I prefer using it before because it works best for my dry skin.) and right now the newest one which is Ponds White Beauty with Korean Ginseng and Saffron.  I was happy with the innovation as always because I know it’s for the better. They keep on adding new components to the product to also meet the needs of every woman.            

I’m always a happy and satisfied Ponds user. Until one day, I noticed that my face feels itchy and is peeling off.  It turned rough and dry. I didn’t use any other cleanser or cream other than Ponds. I examined the product to see if they have added something that might have caused it.  I found the culprit! I didn’t realize they have added on it “Powder Finish Day Cream”. I have nothing against it, except that I don’t/can’t use powder because it would dry up my skin even more. I got so frustrated that I have to stop using the product.

Not that I don’t recommend using Ponds anymore, I still believe in the product which served me for years. It might not work for me anymore, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work for others. It’s just choosing the right product that would work best for the type of skin you have. For me though, the new innovation didn’t meet my needs anymore. I have dry skin and I need a product that would moisturize it. That would leave my skin soft and rosy white. I discovered Olay White all-in-one fairness day cream and foaming cleanser online from the blogs I read and learned a lot of good reviews from it. I’d probably start using it in the next couple of days and hopefully will be as happy as I was with Ponds before.

I therefore conclude that there is no such thing as the “best product”. It would depend on the type of skin you have whether the product works best for you or not.  The “best product” for you may not be for someone else.  Don’t be afraid to explore! Exploring on new things would let you know yourself even more.  Have fun!
